Tool engineering
Special solutions for particular applications
Our own tool engineering workshop is an essential part of our range of services. The know-how and experience gained from this segment are also available to our customers as an independent division. We manufacture flexible tools for a wide variety of industries - and innovative special solutions for special applications are also a focal point here:
- Pre-punching, after-punching and separating tools for roll-shaped profile machining
- Punching tools
- Bending tools
- Stamping tools
- Pressure jointing tools
All common drive concepts are available in the tool engineering area: from mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drive units to servo-hydraulic high-speed punching drive units.
Special tools for profiling plants
Our highly flexible punching tools enable a complete production of ready-to-install parts for every conceivable machining and processing of sheet metal within a profiling line.
There are hardly any limits to the automatic additional machining and processing of the parts after profiling on our special machines. Our specialists can develop tailor-made solutions for additional fully automatic machining processes such as e.g. material transport, handling, assembly processes and stacking operations.
Concept stage and quotation
The customer and the close, personal exchange between them and our team are the core elements of Ottemeier's customer projects. Starting with the personal initial discussion and on to an intensive concept stage, the preparation and discussion of the quotation is implemented.
From order to the first production test
We commence with a kick-off meeting once the order has been issued – internally and with the customer. The development and construction stage then commences, the personal exchange remains a constant companion. The finished plant is initially assembled at Ottemeier and put into operation under production conditions. At the same time, initial training (plant operator and/or customer's maintenance technician) is executed and the pre-acceptance inspection.
Installation of the plant and after-sales service
The finished, already tested plant is then assembled on site at the customer's location and put into operation again under production conditions. The final acceptance inspection is still however not the conclusion for a project. Our after sales service and intensive support enables us to be there for our customers for as long as the plant still operates for them.
